Light and easy. Crisp and refreshing. For our first vintage making a single varietal Grenache, we wanted it to live on the brighter side of the spectrum.This is a red that does well by the pool, at the beach, or on the boat throughout spring and summer. It has a delicate profile and a precise minerality that mirrors some of our favorite wines coming out of Spain’s Sierra de Gredos. Our favorite part, though, is the purity of fruit that Washington does so well.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTasting Notes:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOn the Nose:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Bright and expressive. Ripe strawberry, rose petal, blood orange peel, and pomegranate lift straight from the glass, with a sense that something good is about to happen.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOn the Palate:\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCrisp and high-toned. Wild raspberry, fresh thyme, and citrus rind combine with subtle mineral edges adding shape. Soft red fruit lingers on the finish with just enough grip to keep things interesting. There’s a cool, earthy freshness to it, like the air right before it rains. Around here, we call it “gas.” In other words, it’s awesome.
